MIGHTY-MACは今期より展開が始まるブランドで、元々は1908年にアメリカで創業した
セーリング（ヨット）ウェアのブランドです。
こだわりの服作りから、多くの有名ブランドとのコラボレーションも果たしていた実力派です。
1990年代より活動を休止していましたが、今期より35SUMMERSの手により復活を果たします。

昨今の健康志向や、ナチュラル・エコロジー志向が広がる中、俄然注目されているのが
登山やトレイルランニングなどのアウトドアスポーツです。
そんな中、35SUMMERSスタッフSがロッキーマウンテンフェザーベッド（RMFB) のGORE-TEX®シリーズで、
今期新作の『SP2』を華麗に（？）身にまとい富士山登頂に成功しました。

当日は午前中の早い時間は晴れていたものの昼に近づくにつれ霧が出て始め、
それが雨に変わり、降ったりやんだり、昼過ぎからは激しい雨という、変わりやすい山の天候の典型でした。

そんな中で大活躍だったのが RMFB『SP2』です。
雨や風を防ぐのはもちろん、朝方や山頂付近の低い気温の中では防寒着としても活躍し
抜群のパフォーマンスを発揮してくれました。

SP2はGORE-TEX®ファブリックにRMFBのアイコンである『1枚革』革ヨークを配した、
ハイテクとローテクの絶妙なハイブリッドアウターです。
『スタイリッシュないでたちと爽やかな笑顔でオシャレ登山女子たちの視線は僕にくぎづけでした』
というSのコメントには少々疑問を感じますが、他では見ないその独創的なデザインで
多くの登山客たちの目を引いていたのは間違いないようです。

ウォッシャブルレザーを使用しているので洗濯機で丸洗いできるところも大きな買いポイントです。
